College Success 101

Tuition is rising, and the total student loan debt for college has passed 1.1 trillion dollars for the first time in history in the United States. The 5-year graduation rate has remained stagnant for the past 20 years and the value of a college degree is being questioned! Can new technology platforms rewrite the playbook? See how institutions can better diagnose student attrition and intentionally match interventions – all leading to greater student success including higher lifetime earning potential.

Matthew Pellish (Washington D.C. USA) is a Director of Member Education and a national meeting speaker with the research programs of the Education Advisory Board (EAB). In this capacity, he is responsible for the communication and delivery of strategic and custom research.

Mr. Pellish’s master’s degree, from Harvard University, is in education with a focus on higher education. Before joining EAB, he served as director of continuing education at Wheelock College in Boston, Massachusetts, founding this new division with unique models for curriculum delivery and business and revenue generation, as well as marketing and student recruitment.

  2. can you make a video on how you personally memorize stuff in med school?? Like do you just rewrite things over and over or use flashcards etc

  3. Just started taking my first major Accounting class along with four other upper division general business classes and feel overwhelmed lol. I will definitely be using these tips!

  5. What is the right Application for the "Google Calendar"? Do we need to download it from internet? Or it's on the Appstore?

  6. I am a junior in high school and I have looked WAY ahead in my life. I find these tips extremely useful, especially since I am so independent. I also currently volunteer on the operating room level of the teaching hospital nearby and I cannot imagine my future self doing anything else!
